9 Web 3 Tools I Couldn't Live Without

Web 3, crypto and NFTs have presented so many new opportunities for creators, business owners and anyone in general. But despite all that blockchain makes possible, things are still very complicated.

It’s very hard to focus on brand building and being creative when you have to learn what smart contracts are or understand what solidity is. It’s a huge barrier for less technical people and those just entering the space.

But as I learn and explore all that the space has to offer, I compiled a list of my favorite tools that I couldn’t live without!

HAL

Finally a blockchain data listening and automation platform that is both powerful and easy to use. Create delightful crypto experiences. Have an amazing time doing it.

I like HAL because it lets me create automated actions simply. I can track wallets, tokens and nfts and have data sent back to emails, discord, webhooks or twitter. This becomes super useful when building something like this by hand would be almost impossible as a non coder.

ROLL

Roll is blockchain infrastructure for social money. Earn and redeem social money with your favorite creators

Social tokens may be the unsung hero of the future. Creating new ways to interact with your community or audience and even new ways to provide value to your biggest fans! there are so many different ways to use social tokens and is completely different from creator to creator.

GUILD

Token-Gated Access for DAOs and Social Tokens

Guild creates gated access for DAOs, NFT projects, creators and communities. It allows you to create roles for discord to gather and disperse your audience. Super useful to keep your community in order!

Mirror

The issue with paying collaborators in web 3 has been solved a few different ways in each platform. 0xSplits presents a protocol that makes paying collaborators super easy and super efficient.

POAP

POAPs are probably the easiest way to onboard new people into NFTs. They are free to mint, easy to obtain and you don’t even NEED a wallet, just an email address. If of course, once a person is comfortable, they can transfer to a wallet.

If you’re a content creator and looking for ways to utilize your NFTs, you can use Mintgate to create gated access. Only holders of your NFTs can access your content. What can you gate? videos, music, pdfs, links, and even events!

There are plenty of tools that allow you to batch send tokens but this is the one that i’ve ended up using. You can also batch send NFTs to wallets aka airdrops.

GNOSIS SAFE

The most trusted platform to manage digital assets on Ethereum

One of the more secure ways to manage your assets. Just like a bank safe, you can set it for multiple signatures for confirmation. This is one of the best tools to prevent unauthorized access to your teams assets.

These tools take a bit of practice understanding and how to use but as a creator more, these are the tools I’ve added to my belt!

As a semi-technical creator, i LOVE using tools that make my life easier. Though, after running through all of these tools, I realize that these may be complicated for a new person to use early on in their journey into web 3.
