How @POORMARTY animated "Aight" for Westside Boogie

TRANSCRIPT

“aight yall so heres how i animated aight aight for westide boogie

since this was a straight forward image, i decided to separate the image into 3 parts

i scale up the face a bit to create some space to animate and

i removed the original background and painted it in to fill up the frame

exported and opened in after effects, i run straight to that puppet pin tool

i add pins to the parts i want to move and to the parts i dont want to move.

i animate the hands and hat so it looks like hes pulling it down and adjust till it looks good

then i draw some masks and pull out that caucasian solid and add some glare to them glasses

some final touches on the text and i added some particles and we done!”
